Ways to pay

Direct Debit

The easy way to pay your bills on time, every time. With Direct Debit, your bills are automatically paid on the due date from your nominated savings, cheque or credit card account.  If you set up Direct Debit, any overdue balance will be deducted immediately. 

If you nominate a credit card account, it can only be a Visa or MasterCard credit card. A fee applies for payments made on debit card (0.17% incl. GST) and credit card (0.66% incl. GST). Powerdirect does not charge a fee when you pay by PayPal. AMEX card not accepted.

How to pay
Call 1300 307 966 to arrange direct debit payments.


One of the most convenient and accessible online and phone payment methods. Pay your Powerdirect bill through your bank's phone or internet banking using BPAY. If you aren't already registered for phone or internet banking, contact your bank.

How to pay
Refer to your bill for your payment reference number and biller code.


Pay your account by credit card over the phone. Visa or Mastercard accepted. You can pay up to $10,000 per transaction.

A fee applies for payments made on debit card (0.17% incl. GST) and credit card (0.66% incl. GST).

How to pay
Call 131 816 to arrange for an over-the-phone payment.


How to pay
Send the payment slip from your bill with a cheque to the address as it appears on your bill.

Post Billpay

You can pay your Powerdirect bill in person at any Post Office or visit the Postbillpay® website for more options.

A $2 (GST incl.) over the counter fee may apply when paying in person at Australia Post. A 0.45% (GST incl) fee may apply for paying by debit card or credit card on the Post Billpay website.

Centrepay is a direct bill-paying service offered to customers receiving payments from Centrelink at no cost. Through Centrepay you can choose to pay bills by having a regular amount deducted from your Centrelink payment. You can start, change or cancel Centrepay deductions as required.
