Bagasse: Waste plant fibre left after the juices have been removed from sugar cane. Bagasse can be burned to produce electricity.
Billing Cycle: Customers with Powerdirect receive their bills on either a monthly or quarterly basis.
Biomass: Refers to plant matter, which is used as a fuel to produce renewable energy.
Bundled Bill: is an industry term that refers to a simplified bill that shows two components:
- An Energy Charge with all of the pricing components (Network and Regulated charges) absorbed into it.
- The Supply Service Charge is a fixed administrative cost that is charged for servicing your premises.
